Common Issues & Quick Fixes

Video Not Playing

Click a different server button above the player. Each title has 6+ servers — most playback problems resolve instantly by switching. Also try refreshing the page.

Buffering or Slow Speed

Switch to a different server. If all servers buffer, check your internet connection. Lower quality streams on slower connections by choosing a non-HD server option.

No Subtitles Showing

Open the player settings and enable subtitles via the CC button inside the player. Available languages depend on which server is selected — try a different server for more options.

Mobile Playback Issues

Use Chrome or Safari for the best experience on mobile. Tap the fullscreen icon in the player for full-screen viewing. If the player is blank, try a different server.

Can't Find a Title

Use the search bar at the top of any page. Search by title name, actor, or director. If a title is missing from our library you can request it via our Contact page.

My List Not Saving

My List is stored in your browser's local storage. Make sure your browser allows local storage. Clearing browser data or using Private/Incognito mode will erase your list.

How to Watch on Cineby — Step by Step

Browse or Search for a Title

Go to Movies or TV Shows to browse by genre, country, or rating. Or use the search bar at the top of any page to find a specific title by name, actor, or director. Results appear instantly as you type.

Open the Detail Panel

Click any poster card to open the detail panel. This shows the plot description, IMDb rating, cast, director, year, runtime, and available genres. For TV shows it also shows the full season and episode list.

Press Play to Open the Player

Click the Play button in the detail panel to open the full player. The first available server loads automatically. The player supports fullscreen, volume control, and playback speed adjustment.

Switch Servers if Needed

Server buttons appear above the player. If the current server does not play, click any other server button — playback switches immediately. No page reload required. Try all available servers before reporting an issue.

Navigate TV Episodes

For TV series, use the season selector dropdown to choose your season. Episodes are listed below the player. Click any episode to play it. Autoplay automatically moves to the next episode when one finishes, so you can binge without lifting a finger.

Save Titles to My List

In the detail panel, click "+ My List" to save any title for later. Your list appears at the top of the Browse page. My List data is stored locally in your browser — no account or sign-up required.

First try refreshing the page and attempting each server again. If a title is unavailable across all servers it may be temporarily offline. You can report the issue via our Contact page — include the title name and we will investigate as soon as possible.
